An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint an outstanding teacher to join our MFL department. MFL is a compulsory subject at key stage 3 and a popular choice at key stage 4. An increasing number of students also opt for the subject at A level.

We offer the following subjects:

• French – up to key stage 5

• German – up to key stage 4

• Spanish – up to key stage 5

We wish to employ a teacher who has a good subject knowledge and is passionate about sharing their knowledge with young people. You must be a reflective practitioner and be committed to strong personal growth and continuing professional development. This position would suit a newly qualified teacher or a more experienced teacher looking to broaden their experience at a very successful inner-city school. A significant TLR allowance will be available to a suitably experienced applicant to take on an additional leadership role within the department.

Our students enjoy a wide range of extra and co-curricular opportunities, which help to develop their social and interpersonal skills.

Brampton Manor Academy is a highly successful 11-18 mixed school and we serve a rich and culturally diverse community in East Ham, close to London City Airport and the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park situated in Stratford.

Ranked as one of the top schools in the country for pupil progress at both GCSE and A Level and rated ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted in all categories in both 2012 and 2018, our students recently featured in the national media as a result of 51 of them securing conditional offers to study at Oxford or Cambridge. Brampton Manor converted to Academy status in April 2011 and formed a multi-academy trust called Brampton Manor Trust in 2013. In January 2014, Brampton Manor sponsored another local school, Langdon Academy (a 3-16 school), who joined our Trust in January 2014. There is strong collaborative working between our schools.
