Job overview
We want to appoint an additional enthusiastic Teacher of Science to support our students learning. The post would suit an experienced science teacher or an ECT. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to teach across the Key Stages, including our highly successful sixth form if appropriate. You will be supported by an experienced Director of Science, Subject Lead and a Lead Practitioner along with a well established team of enthusiastic scientists. At The Bourne Academy we develop literate, numerate global citizens who ASPIRE: Ambitious, Self-confident, Physically Literate, Independent Learners, Resilient, Emotionally Literate. All adults, whatever their role, have a responsibility in delivering this vision.
Teaching and learning is high on the agenda at The Bourne Academy and staff are actively encouraged to constantly develop, experiment and reflect on their practice.
