Hurworth School’s motto is “Achieving Excellence with Care”. The academy believes in the widest possible horizons for learning and aims to achieve the finest 11-16 education to be found anywhere. It endeavours to provide a curriculum that interests and motivates pupils, enabling them to develop their knowledge and make progress at a challenging pace. The secondary school also aims to help pupils develop lively and enquiring minds.
