Teacher of Science

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate teacher of Science for January 2025. This is initially a fixed term position for two terms, with the potential to become permanent. The role is full-time but for an exceptional candidate, part-time hours would be considered.

The successful candidate will be confident in teaching across all three Sciences up to GCSE level, but an ability to teach A level would be an advantage. The Science department aims to encourage pupils to achieve high standards and applicants will need to demonstrate strong subject knowledge, contagious enthusiasm for their subject and an effective, nurturing teaching style.

This position would suit an experienced teacher looking for a new challenge or an ECT to whom excellent support will be given.

Sciences are taught in the Sir Sydney Camm building; a state-of-the-art facility which houses nine purpose-built science labs and dedicated preparation rooms for each subject. The successful candidate will join a friendly and welcoming department, supported by a strong team of science technicians
