Job Title: Teaching & Learning Support Assistant
Responsible to: SENCo
Salary: Grade E, 32.5 hours per week, term time only
Contract: Permanent, full time
Start Date: November 2024
About the role
We are currently looking to appoint a Teaching & Learning Support Assistant to join our SEND team. The post available will include supporting in our Inclusion room and within the classroom.

The ideal candidate
- Good educational background with GCSE or equivalent in English Language
- Level 2 or above Teaching Assistant qualification or willingness to work towards
- Understanding of the education system
- Understanding of how children learn
- A sound grasp of the concept of inclusive practice
- Knowledge of the concept of confidentiality
- Awareness of child protection issues
