Job overview

The successful candidate is likely to be a graduate in Fashion or Textiles, and they will need to be comfortable supporting the Teachers and Students in the Textiles department. The successful candidate must exhibit proficient practical skills, the ability to effectively manage practical sessions, inspire students, and uphold high standards. Experience of working with a range of materials as well as subject specific ICT programs and technology would be beneficial.

Art and Textiles are very popular subjects within the school and are well resourced. All staff are fully supported in their professional development.

The closing date for applications is 9am on Monday 23rd September.

Interviews will take place at Edgbaston High School for Girls on Thursday 3rd October.

 

Successful candidates will be invited to a formal interview and will be given a specific task to do. There will also be an opportunity to tour the School on the day.Applications, addressed to Mrs Clare Macro (Headmistress), should include a completed school application form and a covering letter of not more than 2 pages summarising your suitability for the role as outlined in the information pack.
