Sir William Perkins's School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and well qualified Physics graduate to join our Teacher Training programme and train to become a Teacher of Physics. The successful candidate will be passionate about working with young people and creative and innovative in their approach. You will be eager to become a fully qualified teacher and excited for the opportunity to inspire young people with your experience and knowledge. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain qualified teacher status (QTS) while earning and learning from highly experienced colleagues.

About you

We would like to hear from candidates who

  • Have a UK Physics degree with a minimum 2:2 classification
  • Have exceptional Physics subject knowledge
  • Are passionate about Physics and have a desire to share their knowledge with others
  • Have a desire to become a qualified teacher

About us

Sir William Perkins’s School is a high-performing, academically selective, independent girls’ school for approximately 600 students aged 11 – 18 years. The Head is both a member of HMC and GSA. It is located on an attractive 12- acre site situated on the outskirts of Chertsey, a two-minute walk from the railway station and very near to the junction of the M3 and M25.
