The Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Trust ICT Support Officer to deliver first-class technical support across our schools. In this dynamic role, you will provide on-site and remote support, helping to maintain and improve the Trust’s ICT infrastructure, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide first and second-line technical support to staff and students across the Trust’s schools.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Assist with the installation, maintenance, and configuration of ICT systems, including servers, networks, and classroom technology.
  • Monitor ICT systems and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
  • Support the delivery of ICT projects across the Trust, ensuring alignment with the Trust’s strategic goals.
  • Work collaboratively with school-based ICT teams and third-party providers to enhance service delivery.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff on the use of ICT equipment and software.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies and cyber security standards.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Proven experience in ICT support, ideally within an educational or multi-site setting.
  • Strong technical skills in hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Experience with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Google Workspace.
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and server management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
  • A proactive, problem-solving approach with attention to detail.
  • A full UK driving license and willingness to travel across Trust schools.
