ACS International Schools are seeking a Spanish Teacher to work at our Cobham campus in Surrey, UK. The teacher will be required to teach Spanish to students of varying skills and ability, ages 14-16.

Knowledge, skills, and experience required:
- Bachelor's degree/Bachelor of Education
- A teaching qualification (PGCE/QTS/Teaching licence/certification or equivalent)
- 2 or more years of post qualifying relevant teaching experience
- Strong IT skills, preferably with Apple products
- Demonstrates consistently high standards of personal and professional conduct
- Fluent in English both verbal and written
- Significant experience and willingness to integrate technology to improve teaching and learning
- Experience of teaching in an international school is desirable but not essential.
Accountabilities:
- Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge students in a safe learning environment, rooted in mutual respect
- Plan and teach well-structured engaging lessons, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all students
- Promote student progress and outcomes, assess and provide feedback
- Demonstrate good subject and curriculum knowledge
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop teaching and learning resources for students at different levels
- Promote a love of learning
- Offer help to all students who need additional learning support, working with Resource teachers, including EAL and learning differences specialists, to support students with specific learning needs
- Undertake training, keep up-to-date on requirements and work as an advisor in the Pastoral Care programme, overseeing the day-to-day wellbeing of students to identify any student issues, problem-solving with the pastoral care team as required, liaising with parents/carers
- Participate in the extra-curricular programme
- Support with other duties to assist with the smooth running of the school.
