We are seeking a dedicated Whole School Attendance Officer to join our team and play a crucial role in ensuring all our students can thrive through consistent attendance. The daily working hours for this post are 8.00 am to 16:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Do you have:

 A strong understanding of attendance regulations and safeguarding policies?

 Excellent organisational and administrative skills?

 The ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff?

 Experience working in a school or similar environment?

 Confidence in using IT systems and software for data management and reporting?

Are you:

 An empathetic and approachable individual with excellent interpersonal skills?

 A proactive problem solver who thrives on tackling challenges?

 Committed to promoting the importance of education and high attendance?

 Skilled at analysing data to identify trends and implement strategies?

 Someone who can work independently but also collaborate effectively as part of a team?

Duties to include but not exclusive to:

 Monitor and analyse attendance records across the school to identify patterns and areas for improvement.

 Work with students and families to address barriers to attendance, offering support and guidance.

 Liaise with teachers, senior leaders, and external agencies to ensure effective attendance interventions.

 Maintain accurate records and produce regular attendance reports for school leadership.
