Job overview

We are looking for a teacher to join our lively and supportive team from January 2025 to cover maternity leave until August 2025 in the first instance. The St Mary’s team is hard-working, good fun and ready to welcome a new recruit to the family. The successful candidate will be an excellent classroom practitioner with high expectations of themselves and the children. They will demonstrate a keenness to develop their own practice and quickly become part of the team. They will show good judgement, tact and initiative in dealing with problems and remain calm and objective in difficult or unexpected situations. Most importantly, they will demonstrate an affinity with the school’s ethos to build compassionate, resilient people using a relational approach.
