<p>The resource is a set of revision guides focusing on the primary functions of a bike with theory tailored for the WJEC Engineering level 1/2 course.</p> <p>They would benefit from having a visual aid (bicycle) in the classroom at the same time to help give context and meaning to subjects.</p> <p>This set of revision notes will be completed by students with QR codes embedded to promote independent study and further learning.</p> <p>Within resource are url links for teachers and exemplars to aid delivery.</p>

<p>To consolidate theory content delivered in class these mindfulness resources were produced to be used along side formal notes.</p> <p>The resources cover:</p> <p>Metals (ferrous, non-ferrous, alloys, stock forms, examples mateirals, uses and properties)<br /> Polymers (classifications - thermopastics, thermosetting, the process of manufacuring, example materials and typical products)<br /> Smart and modern materials (polymorph, thermochromic, photochromic, nitinol and kevlar)</p> <p>They were designed for pupils to personalise and use colour to link concepts and knowledge.</p>
