Year 1 Odd and Even worksheet

(16)

An independent piece of work I have done with a set of Year 1s to check their understanding of odd and even numbers. Have just left the LO as our marking grid isn’t the same for everyone. (I have also attached PDF versions of each doc because of formatting issue on different computers)
1 star LA
2 star MA
3 star HA
Hope it helps!

Spanish Pairs Game - Como te llamas?

Card match up game – children have 1 half of a couple eg. Minnie & Mickey. (I cut them out and laminate so they last longer)

Children can walk around the class (or sit in a circle) and ask ‘Como te llamas?’ to which another child answers ‘Me llamo…’ and if they match then they check their pair matches with an adult and sit down together.

Could also add ‘Y tu?’ if the children are able.

This is a worksheet I made to help with a Spanish alphabet lesson. This follows a couple of 'numbers&' lessons. Hope it helps!

Flashcards I have used as a 'Pairs&' game for small groups (better laminated) or as prompt cards for quick recall. The words on their own can also be used with older groups as prompts for a MFL version of Pictionary (where they pick up the word and have to draw it for their team against the clock).

This is a Tarsia jigsaw that I found really helpful when consolidating my colours topic. Hope you find it as useful as I did!
