<p>3 hours lesson which can be broken down. This resource was written for my Y13’s to revise all AS mechanisms. It gives the specification requirements, a walk through of the mechanism and conditions and each section is followed with exam questions from students to complete. A word document is also provided to print off for students to complete the exam questions as you go through. All answers provided. A section at the end goes through some common 2 step reactions. Covers free radical substitution, nucleophilic substitution, elimination, reduction, addition reactions, oxidation, ozone and dehydration reactions. Exam questions are AQA specific. My students are sent a copy following the lesson and they use as a primary revision source. Cheap price as we all like a good bargain!</p>

Easy to follow with key points made clear. Example of H-NMR and 13C NMR within powerpoint is animated to show students where each point is found related to the molecule and also the data sheet. <p>This resource goes over the AQA chemistry required practical 10A and 10B techniques.<br /> This does not detail the method, it details the equipment used and questions students as to the use of particular requirements in the method.<br /> It has 3 slides for students to fill in and all the answers are included.<br /> Why is the solvent important, why the steps in recrystallisation are essential, why sodium chloride is used to separate the water phase etc. All key points are covered which are often exam questions.<br /> This was prepared for Y13 students following the release of 2022 chemistry update for exams following disruption by C-19.<br /> Students have found this really useful as a revision resource.</p>
