This is a simple version of the nativity story which I use with nativity flashcards I put on a couple of years ago and we do actions for each of the key words before we look at the play eg hand out to the side as though holding staff for Joseph. Hands together in inverted v for the stable etc There is also a song Petit Jesus that I put on a couple of years ago that sings to the tune of Frere Jacques which brings in all the nativity characters.

Presentation that can be used for classroom or assembly for remembrance Day.
Draws attention to the differences between England and France and also worth saying that in France it is a public holiday. If you do use this it would be good to know how you found it. I followed up with outline drawings of poppy and cornflower and got the children to write the colour word as many times as possible to fill in the space within the outline- bleu, rouge, vert, noir
Topical powerpoint of the queen wearing different coloured hats for the children to practise saying the colour. I have also included a song De quelle couleur est le chapeau to the tune of the wheels on the bus

A ppt with flashcards at the end that allows you to intoduce halloween voacb andand reinforce use of numbers. The song goes to the tune of frere Jacques and allows the words to be reused. The worksheet is simply to reinforce numbers using halloween vocab

Can be used on IWB or OHP or on card for pair work ? requires Quel temps fait-il? The question mark needs the children to ask the question Quel temps fait-il?

I had previously submitted the song and the worksheet but this has the error removed. I would introduce the flashcards and vocabulary first and play usual flashcard games .Song to tune of frere Jacques.

a set of flashcards with pictures and French Christmas vocab and a second set with French number words to be printed on the back of the cards. Make a tree or other background shape and blutack the laminated cards number side showing on the tree. Each day allow a child to find the right card for the date and turn it over and so introduce a new item of Christmas vocabulary. The cards could also just be used as flashcards or if printed without the words they could be blutacked on board in 3 rows of 3 to play noughts and crosses

ppt giving 4 basic classroom instructions in the form of a song to sing to tune of 3 blind mice. word document with song and and pics from ppt to cut up into 8 sections to allow for matching of words to pic and then to reorder the song.

When dates and birthdays have been studied this birthday chart can be put up in the classroom as a reminder of the months and also a chance to wish each child a happy birthday in French

minicards for dominoes or they can be cut out as squares and used for matching games . Aditionally pics can be used on their own paired oral practice of j’aime /je n’aime pas or aking question Tu veux….? Je veux / Je ne veux pas Cards can also be shared out in groups of 4 and teacher can call out the card and pupil turns their card over if they have it, the winner is the person to turn over all their cards first so a kind of bingo

A series of pics with fish with a number in French with plus and minus signs between. The children have to read the numbers in French and add/ subtract as required and come to a total answer.
I also got the children to make their own on the final sheet and these can then be passed around amongst other children.
