Give half the class one picture and half the other. They have to describe the transformations (ie make a set of instructions) to fit the picture they have, then they swap their instructions with someone else and try to follow each others’ instructions to recreate a new picture. If you print the sheets two to a page then each student will have a completed picture to describe the transformations from on the right and an incomplete picture to follow the instructions for on the left. ​ I hope that makes sense!
