I have these displayed in my classroom (year 1/2) and a teachers in y3/4 and y 5/6 both commented on them and have printed them out to put in their classes .. one has used them as a literacy border for her display

The is a cvc game for medial sounds. It has 6 base boards each containing 6 different pictures of cvc words. It has the word underneath but is missing the medial sound.
For the children to identify the medial sound, there are vowels to place on top of the pictures.
I dont know if this will work as I've not tried it yet - but cant see why not!
A set of story setting cards to help children to think of or choose different story settings - they are A5 size and 24 in total. Each one has a picture of a place and the word written underneath.
They are very colourful and would be perfect to have displayed up on a classroom wall or as a display border!
This was intended to be low entry, high exit. Children were given this task and then allowed to take it anywhere they wanted. All the children were able to create tables, bar charts, show working out. They identified they covered the following skills.
Money
weight
conversions - weight and money
Data Handling - tables, graphs, pie charts
All four operations
Some also linked the food bought to different food groups - link to science.
I also took the children to the local supermarket and they purchased all of the 'pre-packed&' items on their list to enable them to compare prices.
