Each contains a Non-Calculator (16 questions) and Calculator (16 questions) section along with answers.<br /> Topics covered include Fractions, Percentages, Algebraic Operations, Algebraic Fractions, Arcs and Sectors; Surds, Indices, Volume, Functions; Equations and Inequalities, Straight Line, Quartiles- and Boxplots, Standard Deviation; Line of Best Fit, Changing the Subject of a Formula, Angle Properties, Trig Graphs, Trig Equations, Simultaneous Equations, Vectors, Pythagoras, Triangle Trigonometry and Similar Shapes.</p> <p>These papers provide pupils with the opportunity to practice the skills which commonly appear in the National 5 Maths exam and are ideal for pupils who are beginning to revise for the final exam. I have used these papers at supported study and Easter school sessions, as revision for mock exams and to boost the confidence of pupils prior to attempting SQA past papers.</p>

Each contain a non Calculator (10 questions) and Calculator (8 questions) section along with answers.<br /> These papers provide pupils with the opportunity to practice the skills which commonly appear in the National 5 Applications of Maths exam and are ideal for pupils who are beginning to revise for the final exam. I have used them to boost the confidence of pupils prior to attempting SQA past papers.</p>

<p>A worksheet with 6 questions. Pupils are given a scattergraph with the Line of best fit drawn. They have to describe the correlation, find the equation of the Line of Best Fit and then use the equation to estimate some values.</p>

<p>Five relay races each containing 18 common non calculator questions similar to those used in previous National 5 assessments plus answers. This can be used as a relay race or simply as revision worksheets. During current restrictions I have used this for revision with my S4 pupils who worked in pairs through each sheet.</p>

<p>A relay race on Decimals suitable for a class working at level 3 of CfE. This includes questions on rounding to one and two decimal places and the nearest whole number, the four basic arithmetic operations. multiplying by multiples of 10 and 100, BODMAS and problem questions. Can be used for end of topic revision or to consolidate the decimals topic prior to an assessment.</p>

<p>This is the same as the free version of my Algebra race but includes an answer sheet.</p> <p>An Algebra relay race for an S1 or S2 class working at level 3/4 of CfE possibly as end of topic revision. Covers Solving Equations, Simplifying Expressions and Substitution.</p> <p>Split class into pairs or groups, I would recommend a maximum of 4 per group. Give each group a copy of Q1 and check answers on completion. If correct give group a copy of Q2, if incorrect let them re-try Q1 possibly giving them a prompt. The first group to complete all 12 questions are the winners.</p>

Pupils work out the solution to the system of equations simultaneously, if they have the answer they score it off their list. The winner is the first to score off all 5 selected answers. Teacher will need to keep a note of the questions that have been selected.</p>

<p>This activity contains a number of different shapes, The object is to measure the Perimeter of each shape as accurately as possible. I have used this with S1 and S2 classes working in pairs. For more able classes I vary the units used to measure the Perimeter or ask the pupils to convert there answers into different units. Approximate answers for the Perimeter of each shape in cm’s included.</p>

<p>A relay race covering the Whole Numbers topic suitable for an S1 or S2 class working at Level 3 of CfE.</p> <p>This relay includes questions on the four arithmetic operations, problems, BODMAS, long multiplication, multiplying and dividing by multiples of 10, 100 and 1000 and writing numbers using Digits. I have used this with S1 classes at the end of the Whole Numbers topic and also to revise prior to assessments.</p>

<p>A worksheet on Percentage Problems. This worksheet has been differentiated with questions for less able pupils and questions which provide a challenge to more able pupils. I used this worksheet with an S1 class working at level 2/3 of the CfE.</p>

<p>These Bingo activities offer pupils the chance to practice and consolidate rounding skills. Can be used as a starter, for revision or as a fun activity at the end of a lesson/topic. These activities focus seperately on rounding to the nearest whole number, rounding to one decimal place and rounding to significant figures(1, 2 or 3). I have used them with S1 and S2 classes. Depending on the time available pupils can choose a specified number of answers from the initial grid and write these down to form their bingo card. Questions are then read out or displayed on a screen. I usually print out the answer grid so that I can keep track of the correct answers and use these to check pupils who have completed their card. I have included an ActivInspire file and a pdf for each bingo.</p>

<p>A revision activity on Right anngled triangle Trigonometry and Pythagoras theorem. Four straight forward questions and four more difficult questions. This resource could be used as a relay race or as a carousel activity. I used this with a good S2 class. The class were split into pairs and I issued each group with a question from Q1-4 to work on, there were 5 copies of each question. Once I had checked their answers they chose the next question which were all laid out on a desk. Each group was advised to do a Q1-4 first before moving onto Q5-8.</p>
