Covers Solving Equations, Simplifying Expressions and Substitution.</p> <p>Split class into pairs or groups, I would recommend a maximum of 4 per group. Give each group a copy of Q1 and check answers on completion. If correct give group a copy of Q2, if incorrect let them re-try Q1 possibly giving them a prompt. The first group to complete all 12 questions are the winners.</p>

<p>These Bingo activities offer pupils the chance to practice and consolidate rounding skills. Can be used as a starter, for revision or as a fun activity at the end of a lesson/topic. These activities focus seperately on rounding to the nearest whole number, rounding to one decimal place and rounding to significant figures(1, 2 or 3). I have used them with S1 and S2 classes. Depending on the time available pupils can choose a specified number of answers from the initial grid and write these down to form their bingo card. Questions are then read out or displayed on a screen. I usually print out the answer grid so that I can keep track of the correct answers and use these to check pupils who have completed their card. I have included an ActivInspire file and a pdf for each bingo.</p>

<p>A revision activity on Right anngled triangle Trigonometry and Pythagoras theorem. Four straight forward questions and four more difficult questions. This resource could be used as a relay race or as a carousel activity. I used this with a good S2 class. The class were split into pairs and I issued each group with a question from Q1-4 to work on, there were 5 copies of each question. Once I had checked their answers they chose the next question which were all laid out on a desk. Each group was advised to do a Q1-4 first before moving onto Q5-8.</p>
