Photoshop For Beginners (Photoshop Tutorial)

(1)

This booklet is intended for Secondary School students and above. What is included within the booklet is four chapters worth of information to help get pupils started when working on Photoshop. It is useful because it can be used as a handout for the students to take home with them and continue their learning and also it can be useful for students if they continue to use Photoshop past lesson time.

The learning objectives can be learning how to utilize Photoshop properly by learning various shortcuts and different types of ways to manipulate images into a desired look. The chapters can be taught one lesson at a time or you can choose to do multiple chapters in a lesson or even possibly spread out certain chapters (such as layers) over a longer period of time. This links to any creative design curricula where Photoshop work will need to be used and can also be used within I.T when working on design ideas.

This booklet could be used as a handout for students when teaching the subject of using Photoshop or it can be used for teachers to possibly test students about what they know. Overall this resource is very useful for anyone teaching the Photoshop subject or possibly wanting to brush up on their own knowledge of Photoshop

How to use PhotoShop (PowerPoint)

This PowerPoint is designed to teach the basics and key tools of PhotoShop in a lesson format. The information is easy to follow, there are examples shown and a task prepared at the end.

This resource would be complimented heavily by another resource on my page which is a PhotoShop booklet. This has the same information but in a more concise fashion which can be printed easily and distributed.

1.1 Systems Architecture PowerPoints

(0)

These PowerPoints cover the whole of topic 1.1 (Systems Architecture) in the J277 OCR GCSE Computer Science specification.

There are four PowerPoints included in this set. One teacher version which contains all information needed along with questions and mark schemes for two of the topics; Three PowerPoints are ‘student’ versions which contain all of the information but the mark schemes have been removed. As well as this, there is a whole topic revision sheet to use once the topic has been taught.

This is very useful to a KS4 Computer Science teacher who is just starting in their role and would like a resource to get started or this can be useful to a non-specialist who would like further information on the topic.
