<p>This PSHE powerpoint tackles the issues around homophobia and gender identity.<br /> It discusses different identities through the ‘genderbread man’ which explores the relationship between identity, expression, attraction and sex.<br /> The lesson also involves a debate around the topic of banning the phrase ‘that’s so gay’ and why that is an example of HBT language.</p> <p>I found that this powerpoint worked well with my year 8 form and led to lots of disucssion points.</p>

<p>A PSHE session based around the importance of sleep for teenagers. It focuses around facts about the amount of sleep teenagers should get but also strategies they can use to try and improve their sleep.</p>
