Easter in France/ Easter in Spain

Perfect at Easter. Both Spanish and French. Borrowed a Spanish quiz on TES and adapted added rounds and made it Easter-like!! Starter: Information exchange, pupils have a card they have 3-4 mins to go around the room and exchange information. They ask questions and give the answers and if they don't know the answer they like the fact they can say I don't know!! Once a piece of info has been exchanged, whether that person knew the answer or not they should exchange dominoes and move on. Collect in dominoes and tell them to remember as much as they can. Then do quiz!! EASY!

Really simple French personal questions, a fun way to practise by sitting kids in a row facing another row of them and they ask the questions for a minute, each time a whistle blows they move down a seat and fill in each time the information in the grid. Good for speaking and writing skills.

Suitable for any level. Each person has a card with a question and answer on it. They have 2 mins to go round room and ask their question. If the other person knows the answer they can reply but if not they just say I don’t know and the answer is given. Once you have used your card you swap cards with the person you were talking to. and move on to do the same again. At end collect in and test them. Allow 5 secs to find out after question given then select at random! Please see also EASTER QUIZ with cards.

All on powerpoint, a series of activities, all put together - some from TES so thanks to those who shared - others I came up with and answers included too. There are links to 5 songs on youtube - excuse the 2 with ads but you can skip the ads, and then the title on round 6 (joey) and the question before the last (his actual talent) are linked to the clips of Joey speaking French and then drinking the milk. Hilarious and the kids love it! Enjoy and bonnes vacances!

Great little sheet to get KS3/KS4 to look for mistakes. They have to fold over backwards the correct version at the top of sheet and not look at it after reading it once. Then go through the other copies finding as many mistakes as they can. The number in brackets indicates the mistakes needed to be found. Although i lost count twice so may be wrong.
