Revision mat for students who have already covered the topic. I ask students to: Complete it as much as they can without looking at their notes Add more detail once they have checked their notes (using a different colour pen). Switch over with someone else - when looking at someone else’s they need to find 3 things to add (again using a different colour pen) This can be set in class, as homework to complete steps 1 and 2 - with step 3 being done as a NOW task in the class - or it can be set as cover work.

Assembly - decisions - Sept 11 9/11

(0)
The assembly is based on the positive decisions made by some heroic people on September 11th 2001. The assembly includes information on the terror attack, but also stories of people who went out of their way to help others get out of the twin towers; some of which resulted in them losing their own lives. When I delivered it I got students to read out certain sections of the information in the notes pages.
