<p>One week full of Pumpkin Themed Mini Unit with 2 interactive adapted books &amp; extension activities.</p> <p>Book 1: Visiting a Pumpkin patch<br /> Introduce vocabulary related to a pumpkin patch then read a story. The story needs some prep work prior, but can be used again and again &amp; is adapted to support student learning.Students will read a story about visiting a pumpkin patch. Followup with a story map, ordering by size, sorting by size &amp; clip cards</p> <p>Book 2: How to carve a jack-o-lantern<br /> Introduce vocabulary related to carving a jack-o-lantern then read the story. The story needs some prep work prior, but can be used again and again &amp; is adapted to support student learning. These books require some prep work; however, once made, you can use them year after year!</p> <p>Book 1: Leaves are Falling</p> <p>Students will listen to a short story about fall days &amp; what we can expect during this season. An adorable bear ends our short story raking and playing in the colorful fall leaves. This story is colorful.</p> <p>Book 2: Colorful Fall</p> <p>Students will listen to a story with repetitive text (“I see a”) and identify the item. The items are focused on fall &amp; 8 different colors. An excellent book for practicing color recognition.</p> <p>Book 3: Fun in the Fall</p> <p>A variety of activities are represented in this book. Students will continue developing high-frequency words with the repetitive text “In the fall, I like to.” Activities include hiking, school, bake sale, football, picking apples, picking pumpkins, carving pumpkins &amp; a bond fire with smores.</p> <p>Book 4: Fall Clothing</p> <p>This book has students selecting the correct items of clothing. This book is Each page has “I want to,” followed by “so I need.” For example, students will select sunny days, swimming, and gardening items.</p>

This set of Adaptive books includes four topics, each with three levels (errorless, choice of 3 &amp; choices of 8). The four topics included in this set are household items, animals, school items, &amp; Toys.</p> <p>Each topic includes errorless books, choices of 3, and choices of 8. (please look at the preview)</p> <p>The Errorless Books introduce students to the item they are learning. Students are then provided an “I see” statement &amp; have two pages for demonstrating understanding. Students are asked to point to the item &amp; to circle the object. These are intended to be either printed and used or printed laminated &amp; expo markers.</p> <p>Choice of 3: The books with a choice of 3 follow the same format as the Errorless book; however, when asked to point to / circle the item, they have a selection of 3 items. They will love these adaptive books featuring 8 different farm animals.</p> <p>Book 1: Students will select the correct animal and place them in the correct place using positional words (in front, on, beside etc.). This book uses the most color to make the positional placement of the animals more exciting.</p> <p>Book 2: Read to your students making animal noises! What animal says “oink, oink”, or “cluck, cluck”. Students will use the interactive pieces to select the correct animal.</p> <p>Book 3: I see a " farm animal". Students will see the animal and match using the interactive pieces.</p> <p>Boom Cards! It is free to set up a boom account &amp; your students will love them.
