<p>Y8-9 Spanish translation resource ‘text puzzles’ Gianfranco Conti style. Pupils use the boxes on the right to create each paragraph in Spanish. For a challenge, get pupils to fold the sheet in half so they can’t see the boxes and translate from memory.</p>

<p>Paired dictation template - activity to practice speaking, listening, reading and writing in Spanish (or adaptable to any other language). Pupil A reads out their text in Spanish, Pupil B copies down everything they’ve heard in the target language, then swap. For additional challenge/ extension, pupils can then translate the text they’ve written down.</p>
