<p>Human Rights</p>
<p>This is a 1 hour fully resourced lesson on Human Rights.<br />
This Human Rights Lesson pack contains: A PPT (15 slides) and a peer assessment handout (12 sheets).</p>
<p>Activities include:</p>
<p>Starter Task: A Thinking Skills questions-on human rights.</p>
<p>Task 1: Pupils are discuss the rights of a human being.</p>
<p>Task 2: Pupils are taken through the concept of human rights.</p>
<p>Task 3: Pupils will need to write as many questions using the 5W sheet as the an think of and then use the interactive 5W generator to discuss these questions.</p>
<p>Task 4: Pupils should then watch the YouTube clip and fill in the second 5 w sheet with answers to the questions discussed and any information from the clip that they deem important.</p>
<p>Task 5: Pupils should read the UN Declaration of Human Rights (2 versions included depending on ability) and highlight any key points.</p>
<p>Task 6: In pairs or groups pupils should come up with their own 10 declaration for human rights.</p>
<p>Homework: Pick a current issue that is in the news. Report on which human rights aren’t being followed and why. Also state what could be done to combat this.</p>
<p>Exit task/Plenary: Choose a representative to speak to the UN on behalf of your group to deliver your 10 Human Rights</p>

<p>We have included two different sized booklets for printing to suit your display needs. It is up to you which one you choose. There are a variety of options when creating your religion street we have included a digital picture of how it looks set up as a street scene.</p>
<p>Some of the sign posts and billboards have been left blank for you to insert your ow information. Our plan is for pupils to use this as a learning wall whereby they will add bits of information to it as the year progresses. We will also be adding various bits of information to the billboards as the year progresses based on the topic of study.</p>

This is a 1 hour complete lesson on Sin & Temptation of Jesus sourced with a Biblical passage, YouTube links, worksheets, Discussion points and activities.</p>
<p>Ideal for introducing pupils to the concept of Sin and Temptation. A great lesson to teach before Lent.</p>

<p>This lesson is designed to be a summary of some of the key events in Christian history.</p>
<p>It is the 3rd in the series of resources we are creating for the new RS GCSE.</p>
<p>The starter activity is based on our the fidget spinner activity from last lesson and is designed to ascertain pupil understanding of last lesson’s topic.</p>
<p>There is a Fidget Spinner Placemat that is designed to be enlarged to A3 size for pupils to make notes as they progress through the starter activity. There is also a fidget spinner sheet (without space for notes) that you can print in colour and laminate for classroom use.</p>
<p>Pupils have opportunity to use the Religious Studies Vocabulary Booklet to add any additional Key Words they learn during the lesson.</p>
<p>Additionally, There is an order activity on key events in the Bible and Christianity to date. There are lots of events included to give you the option to use them all or select the events that you would like to include in your own lessons.</p>
<p>The plenary activity is our Emoji Graph. Pupils are asked to choose some of the key events in Christian history and create an emoji graph based on this. The number of events for them to choose has been left to your discretion depending on the ability of the class.</p>

<p>Easter, the last week of Jesus’ life</p>
<p>Try one of our premium resources . To celebrate the rebranding of tes we are giving away this awesome sequencing activity. Pupils are provided with six events in the last week of Jesus’ life and are tasked with ordering them correctly and writing a sentence about each event. The attached PowerPoint takes you through the narrative with sentences for the lower ability pupils. Enjoy!</p>
<p>This is a great end of term activity!</p>
<p>There are a few different puzzle sheets to choose from in this resource. Print your choice out in A3 paper and hand a puzzle piece out to each pupil.</p>
<p>This resource can be used for any subject and any age group. You can use any topic!</p>
<p>Pupils will each have to draw (and colour) your interpretation of this topic onto the puzzle piece.</p>
<p>Depending on age group, pupils can also write a sentence or two about it on the back of the puzzle to explain your artwork.</p>
<p>At the end of the lesson you will be required to stick your puzzle piece on the board to create one big puzzle.</p>
