Snakes and Ladders Template

This template can be used in many different ways… I put cards in an envelope with a question mark on it and if they land on a space with a question mark, students either have to translate a word, or conjugate a verb, or use a word in a sentence, or answer a question etc. etc. to advance on their next go. You just need some counters and dice for students to play!

Speaking Revision Game

A board game to help students to revise and encourage them to talk in French! Would suit around year 9 and up (although it includes some questions where you need the passé composé and conditional tenses). I also use it for beginners to help teach vocabulary and conversation skills. Print out in A3 size and laminate. You just need dice and counters to go with it.

A power point with scrambled daily routine phrases and a count down timer on each one. Students use the accompanying worksheet to write the unscrambled version of the words and then create their own sentences. A third activity encourages students to write about their own daily routines.
