This bundle provides an overview of the principles of the OLEVI outstanding teaching program which focuses on 5 main principles of an outstanding lesson. The bundle I have produced is my own interpretation of this with the context of Geography. It includes an overview of the 5 principles, a 5 minute lesson plan (adapted from teacher toolkit), a teaching file on coastal landforms and a video demonstration of how I delivered the lesson.

This resource explores the issue of poverty in Wales and the UK. Indivdual tasks are structured so that a range of key skills from literacy and numeracy development to reflective learning and AFL opportunities. The tasks are structured in a way so that pupils are able to write a personal standpoint about the issue of poverty.

This 46 slide master presenation provides a range of resources/activities to teach a unit of work on global citizenship. Fully editable, the unit enable learners to develop and explore a range of issues associated with poverty.

A great summative MULTIPLE CHOICE test to enable teachers to assess pupils prior knowledge of key geographical skills. The mark scheme can be adapted to suit but uses a scaled marking approach where a correct answer is worth +2 marks but an incorrect is -1 and unable to attempt is 0. This reduces the pupils chance to guess the correct answer. Can also be embedded into a school Moodle and/or Classroom platform easily for instant marking and feedback.

A double sided (A3) overview revision sheet /worksheet which requires pupils to summarise key geographical concepts associated with the country of Brazil and the Amazon rainforest. Could be used at the start of a unit or a summary activity/homework task.

A revision map of the key geographical processes, landforms and associated human influences. The worksheet is intended to be used as part of a revision task but could be set at the start, middle or end of section of work about landscapes. The worksheet is double sided A3 in size and fully adaptable.

A multi use infographic about the WJEC Geography GCSE specification. This product is aimed at Year 9 pupils who are choosing their options at GCSE. Each resource is fully editable and can be used in a variety of formats, including A2 poster, A1 wall displays, A5 mini booklets and even small business cards. It could also be adapted for a movie or presentation.

A double sided summary (A3 size) of the key concepts associated with River Landscapes and their management. Pupils are required to complete the key sections which, when completed, will provide a fantastic visual revision tool.

This lesson develops a range of reading strategies such as speed, scanning, skimming and annotated reading techniques. Through the teaching, pupils will analyse where and when to use the various reading strategies through a lesson developed about the people of Brazil.

A double paged revision summary (A3) poster which requires the pupil to complete the key concepts associated with understanding plate tectonic theory and the study of earthquakes and volcanoes within our world. This version would require pupils to complete a plate tectonic map of the world - I have added a free version of this jigsaw to the TES data base already.

A fully editable and adaptable Powerpoint resource suitable for all year groups and abilities which enables schools and education centers a consistent and simple to use blended learning or distant learning model to use with their learners. Each slide/page provides a simple range of suggestions and tips to support learning throughout the Covid-19 Pandemic so that all learner can access their respective curriculums. It is organised in a structured way with some examples which can all be altered to suit the individual teacher and schools needs.
