<p>This is a fun project where students can either as individuals or as part of a group test some of the maths they have been learning in “real life” scenarios and use their problem solving skills to make business decisions to ensure that their fashion company is a success!</p>
<p>The maths that will be used:</p>
<p>Basic financial maths, percentage increase, profit, area of 2D shapes, using scale factors, currency conversions, solving basic equations, LCM & HCF, surface area, ratio and angles of polygons.</p>
<p>The project was designed so that it could be completed online, but it would also work just as well (if not better) on paper.</p>

<p>This should last 1-2 lessons.</p>

<p>This is a fun project where students can, either as individuals or as part of a group, practice some of the problem solving skills they have been learning in class in “real-life” scenarios.</p>
<p>In this project there is a particular emphasis on logical thinking and justification of decisions. This allows students to practice their cross-curricular literacy skills as well.</p>
<p>Some of the maths that will be used: percentages, ratio, fractions, logical reasoning, mean average and spotting trends.</p>
