A simple game to engage students in a fitness lesson. Play to win, winner selects the losers exercise, the winner will do the slightly easier version of the exercise. Play for as long as you want to, depending on what you objectives are. Works really well when students learn about interval training.

Minesweeper Fitness Game

An old classic and fully interactive fitness game (works best on powerpoint). Students can take it in turns to select a tile, it will then reveal a fitness exercise and reps, which they’ll complete together.

There are 5 mines in this game, the further away from a mine the less amount of reps they do.

If students land on a mine = 10 burpees

There is a powerpoint version (works best, when you present it), also can download as google slides version (however you’ll need students to delete the boxes manually, wothout presenting).

A christmas version soon to follow.
