AQA additional chemistry c2 part 1 spider diagram powerpoint<br />

This powerpoint has a slide per part of the topic which lists all the keywords associated with it.<br />
Pupils to use this to create their own spider diagram using the keywords.<br />
<br />
The idea is for pupils to recognize key scientific terms in the questions and use keyword association to gain as many marks as possible in the exam.

The WWW are a selection of success criteria for that lesson with the corresponding EBI, for example:<br />
WWW 'I can describe the features of alveoli' and EBI 'To improve, i need to list and describe the features of alveoli'<br />

This is lesson 1 of 19 lessons for year 7 introducing them to working in a science lab.<br />
<br />
This is delivered as a 'Practical Licence' for Year 7, at the end of the topic they sit an assessment and receive a certificate/licence to stick in books to show that they can complete practicals safely.<br />
<br />
Lesson 1 covers safety in a lab, delivered in a 4 part structure (connect, activate, demonstrate an consolidate), the success criteria for the lesson is:<br />
- Identify safety issues in a laboratory<br />
- Describe how safety issues can be minimised<br />

This is used as a DIRT lesson, pupils answer the questions (linked into a 4 part lesson).<br />
This is then marked by teacher or peer assessment.<br />
<br />
From this a WWW and EBI detailed comments will be provided and the subsequent lesson would be a DIRT lesson focusing on improving their answer.<br />
<br />
Assessment loop is then complete when teacher gives final verdict on the work produced.

This spreadsheet contains mapping for science AQA trilogy and separate for a 3 year course starting in year 9 and a 2 year course for year 10 to 11.<br />
