This webquest is designed for use outside the classroom, but could also be used as an additional resource for cover. It incorporates ICT use through use of online dictionaries, making notes in documents and visiting a variety of websites. The activity teaches the basics of shopping and numbers but also teaches some cultural aspects, e.g. traditional recipe, origin of a specific dish, shopping habits etc.

It involves some traditional reading comprehension, but also challenging pupils' creativity through conducting interviews (oral) and writing brochures. ICT elements include using Audacity to create mp3 files, uploading vocabulary onto online flashcards and creating a word documents.
