Introduction to pets. Used with years 2,3 and can be adapted for yr 4. Listening activities- one of which is taken from Expo 1 Textbook (images used from txtbk to save time!) Other listening activities are student led and are differentiated. Activities include reading, colouring and matching tasks. Flashcards to be used with foam dice - really encourages speaking! A series of lessons for Year 7, 8 and 9 on fashion and clothes.<br /> The third lesson (La mode colours and agreements) is not all my own work. I have used and adapted another members power point slides ( J. Kelsall - slides 2,3,4,5,6), as they explain the grammar point very well. I have used fashion images from Hayden Williams from the internet.<br /> Feedback would be great - I have experimented with some activities and tried to incorporate some of the new Key Stage 3 requirements coming into effect soon. Teacher led and pupil led listening and drawing activities on flags of countries taking part in the World Cup 2014. Teaches shapes and revises colours. Simple reading activities and gap-fill writing tasks to describe different flags using language taught. Flashcards available. I have also included a song from 'Chantez plus fort&' songbook which KS2 may enjoy. Flag activities can be adapted for yr 7.

I used this with a very able year 6 class and also with year 7. Introduction to describing hair and eyes with listening activities taken from Expo 1 although I have changed the pictures. Also reading and drawing activities to consolidate key vocabulary. Flashcards and word cards for a timed team game which the students love. They always want to better their time so good as revision too. Some images have been adapted from other resources (hair slides at the beginning)

I used this with a year 4 class as part of the topic Les sports. i introduced some winter sports in addition to the sports they had already learnt. The flag activity was great fun and it can be adapted so that it is student led and for any flag of the world. Obviously you would need to teach more shapes. The writing frame is adapted from a great resource I found on the MFL Sunderland website. I used the writing frame with mini whiteboards and also got students to say their own sentences whilst rest of class called out the numbers. Simple and quick revision of nos upto 30!
