This document incorporates a user-friendly version of the mark scheme for each task, with spaces for writing in marks and comments. It is an easy and efficient way of marking speaking exams whilst at the same time providing specific feedback to pupils. Foundation and higher versions are both included.

This is an entire lesson revising the perfect tense in French, aimed at a high-ability Year 9 or 10 class. It involves a perfect tense investigation, in which pupils revise the perfect tense rules from a set of examples, a series of questions and a set of clues. The extra challenge is to translate and explain some perfect infinitive examples. There is also a dice activity and a written task at the end of the lesson. The set of resources also includes relevant grammar explanation sheets.

The purpose of this resource is to provide students with logical strategies for tackling the grammar gap-fill question in AQA AS exams. If students learn the 9 rules on this sheet, they should then know what to look out for, be able to identify the clues, and then know which form of the verb is needed. I hope it's helpful!

Pupils work in groups and use examples of perfect tense verbs, and clues, to work out the rules for forming the perfect tense, then they put those rules into practice. Finishes with a team game.

A lesson which encourages independent learning and pupil-pupil collaboration. Pupils work out the rules for forming the future tense, then use a dominoes puzzle to work out the irregular future stems. There is then a song activity, a team game, and finally a writing activity.
