12 Topic Writing Frames for KS1

This resource provides a creative way for Key Stage 1 children to engage with various topics through 12 topic writing frames.
Each frame is adorned with colourful pictures and boxes and shapes, encouraging learners to write words, phrases, or sentences relevant to a given theme.
The topics covered are diverse and include clothes, Ourselves, circus, animals, occupations, minibeasts, toys, food, transport and the farm.
A worked example using ‘weather’ is provided as a guide on page 1.
Additionally, there is a blank template included so that children have the freedom to explore and write about their own topic ideas.
These writing frames are useful and fun tools for teachers to integrate into their lesson plans.
