Are you struggling to explain to your students how to get as many marks as possible on those big essay questions?
This resource aims to break down the 16 marker with some top tips AND three examples to two different 16 mark questions. (Six answers in total).
This is based on my experience of not only teaching the Medicine in Britain content at GCSE level but also marking for Edexcel after the summer exams.
The information is broken down simply in bullet points (what to use for each answer) which can then be compared against the answers - teachers could even use the answers themselves and get the students to spot/ highlight good sections or key information. Another alternative would be to give the students the information and the answers and get them to practice marking answers. Or indeed writing their own answers and using my notes to work out how many marks it’d be likely to get.
