3. Funky Phonics: Phase 2 (& some of 3) Alphabet

Funky Phonics is a complete set of phonics planning and resources from Phase 2-6.

These resources were first used with a cohort of children who at the end of Year 1, were placed in the top 5% of schools in England, from the ‘Phonics Screening Check’.

This is section 3 of the resources available. It supports in the teaching of Phase 2 and part of Phase 3 from the guidance set out in the Government’s ‘Letters and Sounds’ document. It includes planning, flash cards, letter to parents, homework sheets, and Max’s Construction Alphabet story.
