A* A Level Love & Relationships Poetry Notes

These are my notes for the ‘Love and Relationships’ section of the English Literature A Level.

The poems I analyse are: Who so List, Sonnet 116, To His Coy Mistress, The Scrutiny, The Garden of Love, She Walks in Beauty, The Ruined Maid and La Belle Dame sans Merci.

I analyse the historical and literature context of each poem, go into in-depth analysis of the poem’s structure and word choice, as well as different poetic and literature techniques each poet uses.
