This Christmas theme worksheet presents a Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens, the classic story of Ebenezer Scrooge. This worksheet is ideal for both native speakers and ESL, EFL students at intermediate, upper intermediate and advanced levels. The students are asked to complete comprehension questions after close reading of the text to evaluate understanding. The vocabulary exercises that follow (definition matching, sentence completion, finding the word) aim to enrich the students' lexicon with a plethora of general adjectives and nouns as well as phrases / idioms related to the heart.
