A Christmas Carol Match-Up task

A PDF file containing descriptions and quotes of the key characters.

• The first TWO pages are the character cards and descriptions
• The rest of the pages contain quotes from staves 1-4 to match to characters
• NOTE: speech bubbles with _ _ _ _ _ _ _ gaps at the bottom do not match to character cards- they are minor characters like Belle and can be written in or spoken aloud.
• To use: print and cut out (laminate). Upon reading each stave, hand out the quotes and a set of characters to match the quote to character. Once reading of the book is finished- you could also use all of the resources for revision.
• Quotes can also be used for other activities- such as analysis. ‘What does this quote from Stave 4 suggest about Scrooge’s transition?’
