This is the eleventh lesson in a series created for the A Level unit Democracy and Dictatorship in Germany. It considers the debate relating to the recovery of the economy under Stresemann, and involves activities requiring the students to evaluate evidence and reach conclusions in relation to different historical interpretations. It also introduces and requires students to write a 20 mark essay for homework.
Ideally this lesson should be taught in conjunction with the Access to History, Democracies and Dictatorships in Germany, but other text books could be used to support it.

This bundle is the second part of the A level unit on democracies and dictatorships in Germany: Weimar's Golden Era. The five lessons are fully resourced and contain built in activities, however the relevant textbook would be useful. The lessons take an hour each to teach, however students will need to complete significant home learning to complete all activities. These lessons can also be used for higher attaining GCSE students (all exam boards).
