A comprehensive and detailed unit of work taking Y13 students through Language Change. There are plenty of fun, engaging activities. This unit does not reference other publications, so is perfect used alongside a textbook. The unit covers theory, examples, grammar, syntax, lexis, phonology and the ways in which language has both evolved and been standardised, and how these two processes work together. This is extremely LONG unit of work, so it might be best to dip in and dip out as required! Please note, videos have been removed as per TES guidelines but links provided where appropriate.
