For developing (spontaneous) speaking - show 1-2 examples, then just the first line of each exchange. Students come up with their own ABER ideas. they could work in pairs/ on their own, there could be a time limit/ a competition for best reply etc.
Could be used with other topics, too, but especially good for holiday complaints.
