Advantages & disadvantages of online learning

This is a deep listening exercise with the focus on understanding meaning. The speaker gives a short, clearly structured speech about online learning. There is a clear introduction, two points are made and explained with examples. The speaker them summarizes and concludes by stating what she hopes the future outcome will be.

The students answer questions about the talk and then go on to write their own notes for a speech they can present themselves, either on the same topic or on a topic of your / their choice.

This lesson would work well with upper intermediate (B2) or advanced (C1) students but could be adapted for other levels.
