This is my interpretation on how to use them, feedback is always welcome. as I don’t claim to be an expert! The slides introduce: expanding single brackets, expanding double brackets, factorising linear expressions, factorising quadratics, completing the square, difference of two squares, expanding and factorising quadratics where a>1.

It should be the skeleton of a series of lessons which can be built on by the teacher by providing further examples or questions.

Thanks this is helpful, I would say the content is too difficult for introducing the algebra tile model but I would definitely use this once pupils are comfortable with the tiles
