Algebraic Properties Create and Color

In this activity, students will match examples with algebraic properties as they tap into their creative side! As the students complete each exercise, they will find their answers in a cell in the table on the next page and then decorate that space according to the directions given for that exercise. The students will create their own colorful masterpieces as they reinforce their algebra skills, and you will be able to quickly check for understanding as the students assemble their artwork. This flexible activity allows students to stretch their imagination while reinforcing important algebra concepts. This activity is great for sub work, enrichment/reinforcement of skills, extra credit, or just plain fun! As an added bonus, the completed work doubles as excellent classroom decor and allows your students to show off not only their math, but also their artistic, skills!
