Alphabet Uppercase Lowercase Worksheets Match Initial Sound Pictures Penguins

These worksheets relate to tracing lowercase letters and writing corresponding uppercase letters. Students should then cut out and glue the correct pictures starting with the initial/beginning sound of the letters.

If you are looking for worksheets to incorporate into your lessons or work for early finishers, then this activity is ideal. It allows students to practise writing upper- and lowercase letters, matching the letters and the initial letter sounds of pictures to the correct letters .

Students also develop fine motor skills in cutting and colouring.

There are two sets of differentiated worksheets: 2 letters per page

• Worksheets 1 to 14: Set displaying A to Z track for students to refer to
• Worksheets 1 to 14: This is more challenging as this set does not display the A to Z track.

There are two versions of ‘t’ and ‘y’.

List of correct pictures to cut out: apple, baby, cat, dinosaur, elephant, fan, guitar, hanger, itch, jacket, kettle, lightning, mask, necklace, octopus, peas, question (mark), ring, sock, table, umbrella, vacuum cleaner, walrus, x-ray, yo-yo, zip/zipper.
