This is a brief overview of a 30-hour behavior course for state certification in the field of developmental disabilities. This course was created in 1992, and has been taught to hundreds of staff working in private, state, and county facilities in Ohio. This author also helped to create an online version of a behavior support course for a private agency. This lesson for teachers dealing with behavioral issues in their classroom provides a short tutorial of basic principles of behavior change, as well as a simple way to analyze most behaviors.

Great! I worked as a behavior specialist and taught the state required course for staff. I also helped design an online version of the course. My mentor, who was a psychologist, recommended a book for my class that's used for training dogs. It's titled "Don't Shoot the Dog." It has step-by-step instructions on how to use specific programs like chaining, shaping, and positive reinforcement. I highly recommend it to anyone that wants a clear understanding of behavioral science.

Thank you. I only charge teachers $10, $50 for departments or schools. $200 for districtwide for distribution. Selling far more offline than on Tes.com. Demand for behavioral intervention is at an all-time high. I've created my own company: If you are dealing with behavioral problems in your classroom, encourage your school district to contact CBAA (Chapman Behavior Analytics and Applications) at GenevaChapman@gmail.com which will provide your school district with a module for staff and parents, "break-out sessions for teachers and other staff, and assessment that's fun as well as introduces a researched assessment. Online meetings are also available to answer questions for school districts that use our module and/or presentations. Thanks again!<br />
