Ancient Greeks - Battle of Marathon / Persian wars Lesson KS2

Stand alone lesson (part of series also available for download individually or as a set at reduced price). This lesson uses ‘Marathon’ as a hook and shares various facts about Greek warfare with the Persians, with links and leads on to the task - writing a news report about the Battle of Marathon. Includes a lesson plan and a notebook file for leading the pupils through the learning.
