This lesson is suitable for the AQA GCSE Biology and AQA Combined Science: Trilogy course looking at the organelles within animal and plant cells, as well as their functions etc.
The cardsort is the matching activity for students outlined on Slide 10, with Slide 11 showing students what they should have matched together.
When using the resource:
- ‘Knowledge Checks’ should be completed on Mini White Boards.
- The re-teach slide is there in case it is needed from the ‘Knowledge Check’ - hence, can be skipped over if not needed.
- Check for Understanding questions should be completed on Mini White Boards (you do not need to ask all of them - it is for you to choose how many you would like to do).
- Independent Practice questions should be completed in students’ exercise books - with students working silently and independently.
