These revision place mats have been made for the AQA A-Level Chemistry course.
Included are place mats for each topic in the syllabus, containing questions and revision exercises, as well as a set of solutions (34 place mats and 34 sets of solutions).
Please note that these have been produced as A3 documents so should ideally be printed on A3 paper or completed digitally, though they can still be used if printed on A4.
If you would like a Word or Pages document format to complete the place mats on a traditional laptop / desktop, please email me at thomas.williamson02@outlook.com with a confirmation of your purchase.
Some topic sheets are great, with enough questions to really delve into the topic, whilst quite a few topics have huge spaces allocated for short answers made worse when printed on A3. Value proposition if compared to a year of chemsheets subscription means at best 2/5 stars

Hi,
I’m sorry that you weren’t satisfied with these placemats and am always happy to receive feedback on them.
I wanted to make sure that students had enough space to answer questions (and add any corrections, if needed) and in my own testing and use of the mats for revision, I found the spacing to be good. It’s worth noting that the text in the solutions is likely smaller and more condensed than handwritten solutions that students may give, which may give false impressions of the space available (other alternative methods for solving problems may also take up more space). Finally, many worksheets include lots of white space around question boxes. This space is wasted and I wanted to ensure students could use that space to answer and correct their work.
I can however see areas where space for one question could be reduced so that additional questions can be added. I will do some further work on these materials over the summer to improve them. Please let me know if you have any further feedback on this.
With regards to pricing, I am aware of the financial pressures placed on state schools and so wanted to set the price to be as fairly as I could. These resources are still priced lower than other resources on the platform, especially considering that I have included questions and solutions for every topic in the AQA chemistry syllabus. It is also worth noting that TES take a 40% cut of sales.
Undoubtedly, Chemsheets provides excellent value which as a student who created these resources for their own revision and is now doing a Physics degree, I simply do not have the time to match (nor do I think I could provide such value in a unique package). It is also worth noting that this is not a subscription so once you have bought the resources, you are free to use them as you wish (within the bounds of the TES licensing agreement) for as long as you like.
Thanks again for purchasing the mats. As I said at the beginning, I am always open to feedback as I simply want students to have the best learning experience possible. If you have any more specific feedback, please get in touch with me via the email address in the product description.
